CNHI's Terre Haute (IN) Tribune Star installs alfaQuest FasTRAK CTP Rolling Meadows, IL, August 25, 2006 - alfaQuest Technologies, Inc., a leading newspaper production system developer and integrator, is pleased to announce the completion of the installation of FasTRAK CTP devices at the Terre Haute (IN) Tribune Star owned by Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. (CNHI). The Tribune Star, one of Indiana's larger Daily and Sunday Newspaper operations, has installed the alfaQuest Technologies violet FasTRAK CTP solution with an automatic 150 PPH unit with a 1,000-plate capacity TRAKmate 2 autoloader along with a second semi-automatic 150 PPH unit. CNHI is the parent company for daily, weekly and semiweekly newspapers published in more than 200 communities throughout the United States. FasTRAK Violet CTP utilizes a field-proven opti-mechanical system for alignment and positioning, ensuring repeatability of ± 0.001 inches, for highest quality color registration. The straight through flatbed design incorporates a new plate transport system, which has proven to be both very reliable and simple to maintain. FasTRAK Violet CTP can image single or double-truck newspaper pages at 1016, 1200, 1270, 1524, 1800, 2400 or 2540 DPI.
