The New Haven Register, Connecticut's second largest daily and Sunday newspaper with a circulation exceeding 94,000, has installed the alfaQuest Technologies violet FasTRAK CTP solution with two 150 PPH units and two 1000 plate capacity TRAKmate 2 autoloaders. Imprint Printing, North Haven, CT, publishers of multiple non-daily publications has installed the alfaQuest Technologies violet FasTRAK solution with two 135 PPH units and two TRAKmates with cassette loading capabilities. Journal Register Company (NYSE:JRC) owns 27 daily newspapers, with approximately 650,000 total daily circulation. FasTRAK Violet CTP utilizes a field-proven opti-mechanical system for alignment and positioning, ensuring repeatability of ± 0.001 inches, for highest quality color registration. FasTRAK Violet CTP can image single or double-truck newspaper pages at 1016, 1200, 1270, 1524, 1800, 2400, or 2540 DPI.
